A federal program called Conversations With America is designed to encourage public comment on how to improve government services to citizens. The following monthly calendar lists meetings that provide forums for public questions and comments.

Surplus Plutonium Disposition Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement

TVA will participate in a public meeting sponsored by the Department of Energy on their Surplus Plutonium Disposition Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS). The SEIS will evaluate the impact of using mixed oxide fuel manufactured from surplus plutonium to fuel TVA nuclear reactors. TVA is a cooperating agency on the SEIS and a co-host of the meetings held in the Tennessee Valley.

Tazewell Soil and Water Conservation District Farm Tour

The Tazewell Soil and Water Conservation District will be sponsoring a Farm Tour.

The district staff will take participants on a tour of three unique farming operations utilizing federal and state Cost Share Programs. To register for the tour, please call the district office at (276) 988-9588. TVA is a partner in this activity.

South Holston Lake and River Cleanup
